| Using house paint, a nearby resident is presumed to have painted "SLOW DOWN" across the road (likely in frustration with speeding cars frequenting the street). I'd seen this marking a few years earlier but had not got around to taking a photo of it. By the time I did take the photo, it had mostly faded whereby the "OW" in "SLOW" was all that remained (and "DOWN" had disappeared altogether). It will be noted in one of the photos a folding plastic board warning motorists that kids play in this area can be seen (what are the chances that the owner of the sign was responsible for the road marking)? These photos were taken in May 2023. |
